How the contest works:

Participants should submit their projects/proposals by filling in the dedicated form – see attached- and sending to the following email address: secretariat@remove-this.activehouse.info

• Each week the received projects will be published on the Active House website
• Projects can be submitted until 19 August 2016
• A specialized jury will select 5 shortlisted projects in September
• In November 2016 the winner will be announced and will be handed the Active House label.

Help us making this contest a success and invite as many interested stakeholders as possible to submit their projects.

This contest takes place in the framework of the launch of the Active House label and it aims at raising awareness and visibility of this new tool.

The new Active House label will be a worldwide quality mark for comfortable and sustainable buildings. It will advise on key elements of people’s daily lives - in their home, workplace and school. The label will highlight all the positive aspects of the complex structure we call home. It will become the symbol of a holistic approach in the building sector combining comfort, energy-saving, and clean, environmentally-friendly energy.

The label will also make it easy for architects and designers to create sustainable buildings by guiding homeowners towards choosing the home that suits them best. And it will showcase the premium market value of these properties for housebuilders and investors.
